Graduate student (2018-2023)
Chunsen completed his undergraduate degree in Chemical Biology at Nankai University in China. His project in the final year was the study of bisulfite-free direct detection of 5-methylcytosine and 5-hydroxymethylcytosine at base resolution during an undergraduate exchange at the University of Oxford (2018). He joined the Brown group as a D.Phil. student in October 2018. Chunsen’s research focuses on the development of new molecular probes for diagnostic and therapeutic applications.
