Dr Mei Peng
Mei completed her undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering at ECUST, Shanghai, China (1978-1982), before working for ten years as a Research Engineer at the Environmental Research Institute in the Ministry of Light Industry, Beijing. She moved to the UK to study for a PhD in Paper Science at UMIST, Manchester (1992-1996). Mei worked as a Senior Research Scientist at Raisio Chemicals Ltd, Blackburn (1997-2005) before joining the Brown group, where she worked on DNA triplexes (2005-2008). Mei now works for the AeroThermal Group in Poole, UK.
